Privacy notice
A short, honest account of what happens to your information when you use this website and when you book with us.
Last updated 14 September 2026
This is a working draft written for the salon, not legal advice. A Malaysian practitioner should review it before launch, particularly the sections touching on customer skin and health information.
Who we are
Pretty Woman Salon & Spa, No 13-1, Jalan RS 1, 71300 Rembau, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. You can reach us on 010-263 0952 or 013-431 4936.
This website collects nothing
There is no contact form on this site, no newsletter sign up, no booking form, and no customer account. We do not ask for your name, your number, your email address, or anything else. Nothing you do here is stored by us.
Every booking button on this site opens WhatsApp with a message already typed. Sending it is your choice, and until you do, we have no information about you at all.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or tracking pixels. The only exception is the map on our contact page: it is switched off until you press the button to load it, and once you do, Google may set cookies on your device under its own terms. If you would rather it did not, use the directions link instead, which simply takes you to Google Maps.
When you message us on WhatsApp
WhatsApp is operated by Meta, not by us. Your message travels through Meta’s service and is handled under Meta’s own privacy terms, which we do not control. What we receive is the chat itself: your WhatsApp display name, your phone number, and whatever you choose to tell us.
We use that information only to answer you and to arrange your appointment.
Information we collect in the salon
When you come in for a treatment we may record your name, your contact number, the treatments you have had, and any skin or health information relevant to your safety, such as allergies, medication, pregnancy, or a previous reaction to a product. For facials, peels, dermapen, and laser treatments this information is necessary: doing these treatments without it would not be safe.
We keep these records for as long as you remain a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that a returning customer’s history is available to the therapist treating them. We do not sell this information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the salon except where the law requires it.
Photographs
We sometimes photograph our work for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. We ask first, every time, and you are free to say no. Saying no changes nothing about your treatment. If a photo of you is already posted and you want it taken down, tell us and we will remove it.
Your rights under the PDPA
The Personal Data Protection Act 2010 gives you the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct it if it is wrong, to withdraw consent to our using it, and to limit how it is processed. Ask us in the salon or over WhatsApp and we will deal with it.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the records we hold and to keep them accessible only to the people in the salon who need them. If a breach ever occurs that is likely to cause you significant harm, we will notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commissioner as the law requires.
Children
Treatments for anyone under eighteen need a parent or guardian to consent, and any information we record for them is handled the same way as everything else described here.
Changes
If this notice changes we will update the date at the top of this page. The version published here is the one that applies.
Questions
Message us on 010-263 0952 or speak to us in the salon. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal data, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Department of Malaysia.
